ADRC of the Mother Lode

Serving Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, and Tuolumne Counties

Area 12 Agency on Aging and Disability Resources Agency for Independent Living (DRAIL) have partnered to develop an Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) of the Mother Lode. The ADRC of the Mother Lode creates a network of organizations that engage in person and family-centered planning and provides responsive and comprehensive information about referrals for long-term support and services. The information received will enable individuals with disabilities, older adults, and their families to make informed choices regarding the support needed to live with dignity in their homes and be fully included in their communities for as long as possible.

What is an Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC)?

ADRCs provide a central source of current, reliable, and objective information about a broad range of programs or services available to older adults and individuals with disabilities, regardless of income. ADRCs are welcoming and accessible places where older adults, individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, and friends can obtain free, accurate, and unbiased information on several aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability. These services help you or your loved ones make informed decisions about living independently with dignity in the setting of your choice.

Our Mission

As an advocate for older adults and individuals with disabilities, the ADRC of the Mother Lode strives to ensure opportunities for independence and the highest quality of life available to anyone in our planning and service area.

How long do ADRC services last?

You can use our services whenever you need them. We are here to help you with short-term and long-term needs.

Does it cost anything to use ADRC?

ADRC services are free. Information and Assistance is provided to you at no cost. (The services you choose may charge a fee.)

Who does ADRC serve?

The ADRC of the Mother Lode serves all the following groups of individuals, including people who inquire about or request assistance on behalf of members of these groups, regardless of their financial means:

• Individuals with developmental disabilities (all ages)
• Individuals with physical disabilities (all ages)
• Individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders (all ages)
• Individals (aged 60+)
